They were being sarcastic. Degen is really bad on this type of character.

Doesn't work. Due to massive intellectual powers the likes of which I cannot comprehend, the 0.05 damage is rounded up. At 1 hp with prot bond, you die. At least, I die (using prot bond, mending, balth's aura, essence).

As for lesser health being a challenge; free4all is nearly 100% correct when he said it's easier. At 13 heal, mending heals 8HP per second. At 130 HP (which I am sadly at atm…and looking to lower so sell me your -HP items!!) you take 6 dmg…strange since 130*0.05=6.5 which is not round up to 7 while 1*0.05=0.05 IS rounded…go figure. At 10HP you take 1 dmg max which means you can have 8 ppl hitting once every second while you giggle all you want. To manage my massive health, I have to run out and die...which the 15% DP then lowers my 130HP to 86HP. The only problem with this is the ridiculously fast rate at which DP is reduced so I soon find myself taking 6dmg per hit again >_<

Ummm, short of dp I don't see how you can get your health to 10hp. Unless of course you are under lvl20 (which would not last long tanking lvl 22-28 in UW). Care to enlighten us? The theoretical lowest max health without dp @ lvl20 is 55 (5 superiors and -50 focus)

the -50 Health focus item can be attained by doing the Cities of Ascalon quest from Simon the Scribe.

also, having a protect monk build with 30 or less health will be too vulnerable to bleeding and other degen attacks (aatxe and the dryders have bleeding and fire if i remember right). so if you'll be doing the prot monk build, make sure it's higher than 30 health.
